Comments:

I married in Oct. 1969, or daughter was born July 1971. My sweet son came along 2 years later. I was blessed to be a stay at home mom. I loved everything that went along with that. My husband worked for American Express
During a business dinner one night, I heard them debating on opening a new office in either Greensboro NC, or Virginia. I jumped in the conversation, and told them my thoughts in the matter. They opened the Center here ( I really don't think I had anything to do with that) Yet it did bring me back "home". We were here for seven years. Giving my children the opportunity to go to school here and graduate collage from here. I was so thankful. We moved back to Florida, but my daughter stayed, moved to Raleigh. So I always had a connection here. Sometimes life can throw us a curve ball, I divorced. I followed my gut and returned to Greensboro Oct. 2013. Getting settled and beginning to feel at home again. Life has been very good to me.

School Story:

I moved to Greensboro during the seventh grade. Glenwood was "home". Jackson became my school. Then on to Ben L Smith. So many in that neighbor hood became my best friends. My very best memories of my 12 years of school were made during those years.
I moved to Florida the beginning of our Senior year. I survived but never forgot my time in Glenwood.
