Comments:

Shortly after graduation I enlisted in the Marine Corp and landed at Parris Island SC. My plans were career military but were soon changed.
Married on Nov. 11, (Gen Patton's Birthday) 1967, then daughter Lara born exactly two years later on Nov 11, 1969. John came along 3 years later. Buddy came along 22 years later.
I live with my soul mate Susan Terrell who was raised in Graham. Susan's Mom, Clara Hughes Terrell, taught in the Graham public schools for over 30 years. We are planning to semi-retire to Topsail Island NC in the near futrure and hope to set up a mortgage branch near Camp LeJuene.
In 1969, Brother David and I opened Patton Brothers Realty & Construction. Building over 200 homes and later specializing in fire damage repair.
1990 I left the real estate and construction business and joined Wayne Hardister to begin a mortgage loan career. I am presently at First Carolina Mortgage, 102 Dolley Madison Rd, Greensboro NC. 336-312-5300. I also am a Notary Public (no charge to classmates just call me).
I have continued to have a great friendship with Coach Jack Chatham. I would probably be under the jail if it had not been for Coach Chatham, 1959 to 1965.
I miss many of my schoolmates who have passed away and wish I had stayed in closer contact. Glenwood and adjacent neighborhoods certainly produced a great quality of kids and I am proud to be part of the group.

School Story:

What can I say, I was the "perfect student" never did anything wrong, very polite and did not cause any trouble. That was not me who took the blacksnake out of the cage and put it in Ms. Johnsons desk drawer and that Toad Frog that was in Don Books drawer...who did it? You know I think Herman Messer was a problem and lets not forget Randy Clark. I witnessed his paddlings since the 3rd grade. More Later
