GREENSBORO — Ann N. Ingold of Greensboro, NC went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 25, 2011 at home, 1317 New Garden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410. She was born January 2, 1947 in Greensboro, NC to Samuel New and Josephine Clymer New.

She was a Christ follower and member of Harvest World Outreach. After graduating from Ben L. Smith High School, she entered the insurance industry. She was a member of Greensboro Insurance Women and served as a past President and member of the Board of Directors. She attained designations of AU, CPIW, and CPCU. Health issues forced her retirement as an accomplished Associate Agent for Nationwide Insurance in 2008.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, Joseph T. Ingold of the home, two sons, Joseph Bryon Ingold & wife, Carla, and James Brandon Ingold & wife, Evelyn. Also surviving, two grandchildren, Paige and Seth Ingold, sister, Mae New Harrison & husband, Michael, brothers, William (Bill) Curry New, James Samuel (Sam) New & wife, Betty, and a half-sister, Rachel New Snyder. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mimi New Bennett and her Mother-in-Law, Irene Kellam Ingold.

A Celebration of Her Life Homecoming Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Harvest World Outreach, 4915 Guilford College Road, Greensboro, NC 27407. Family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.

The family wishes to thank the nurses, Wendy Slingerland and Monisha Howard, social worker, Debbie Garner, Hospice aides, Forhonda Jones and Sherill Rivera, Caring Hands aide, Kim Sturdivant, and Dr. John Feldmann and Chaplin, Chris Morris at Hospice.
